Session: Roots, Equity and Liberation: Taking Action Together

This session will introduce participants to the Roots, Equity, and Liberation (REL)™ framework. The REL framework goes beyond Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. It stretches, encourages and prepares service providers to confront and address root causes of racial inequalities and institutional racism, in order to develop organizational culture change plans, that prioritize equity, collaboration, accountability, healing and wellness as key aspects of achieving systemic change and social transformation. The facilitator will offer concrete and tangible tools and strategies intended to disrupt unfair and harmful practices and policies, and create safe, inclusive, equitable and welcoming environments for all people
